After attending Art Schools in Cleveland and Chicago, Joan traveled West.  Her decision proved a success as during the past nine years she has had six one-man shows and has been accepted in most important Invitational-Juried exhibitions from San Francisco to San Diego.  Her many commissions from private individuals show the adaptability to sculpt for all.
